---# Child safety standards

Timebank Global is an adults-only service, but we maintain explicit standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation wherever content or conduct touches our platform.

Effective 26 August 2026

## Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation

We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and any attempt to use Timebank Global to facilitate, promote, solicit, or conceal harm to a child.

- Creating, uploading, sharing, requesting, storing, or linking to CSAM, including synthetic or computer-generated material.
- Grooming, sexualising a child, sexual extortion, trafficking, or arranging sexual contact with a child.
- Instructions, encouragement, jokes, or communities that normalise or promote child sexual abuse or exploitation.
- Using profiles, messages, listings, groups, events, or any other feature to identify, target, contact, or exploit a child.
- Retaliating against, threatening, or attempting to identify a person who reports a child-safety concern.

## How to report a concern

Reports can be made from inside the app or through our public form. Do not upload or forward suspected CSAM to us; report the location of the content so trained authorities can handle it safely.

1. In the app, use Report on the relevant post, listing, exchange, or marketplace item.
2. Without the app, open the child-safety report form below and include the account or content location and why you are concerned.
3. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or the relevant child-protection authority first.

## How we respond

- Child-safety reports are prioritised for human review and safeguarding reports are normally acknowledged within one working day.
- We restrict access to reported content while assessing it when that is necessary to protect people or preserve evidence.
- Confirmed prohibited content is removed and involved accounts may be suspended or permanently removed.
- We preserve only the evidence necessary for lawful investigation and protect reporter confidentiality as far as the law permits.
- We report apparent CSAM and credible child-exploitation concerns to the competent law-enforcement or child-protection authority, and to NCMEC where applicable or legally required.
