## Timebanking UK

Timebank Ireland and Project NEXUS are delighted to announce a new strategic and technology partnership with Timebanking UK, bringing together two timebanking movements around shared, open-source digital infrastructure. Through this partnership, Timebanking UK will become a recognised contributor and strategic partner in the Project NEXUS ecosystem, helping shape a federated platform built for local exchange, accessibility, cross-community collaboration and long-term community ownership.

The partnership strengthens Project NEXUS as a practical, movement-led alternative to closed civic technology. By working with Timebanking UK, we are creating a stronger foundation for time banks across Ireland, the UK and beyond: shared standards, shared learning, and a platform designed around the real needs of communities rather than the priorities of commercial software vendors.
